Fun, Interactive Experience

This is a fantastic deal for one of Joseph’s classes. His fun, interactive exercises illustrate complex content and kept the group wide awake and involved. If he doesn’t do his car design based story-mapping exercise then ask him to slip it in. It was great to watch the evolution of the group. One guy in particular had been burned badly in a scrum-gone-wrong experience in the past justifiable reservations, by the end he was openly exploring the opportunities and ideas that Agile PM brings, even in a Waterfall context

“I just spent the last 2 days at an agile training course. I have to tell you, it was really eye opening, I feel energized.  I actually feel like I have a better deeper understanding of what agile really means, not just agile though, we also learned about Lean and something called Kanban, which I had never heard about before. I had 7 other members from the DOL that also participated, and we are already making plans to do a debrief and figure out where we really want to start. It is a little bit scary, but it is something that we absolutely need to do. It is important that the leadership embrace the change, not only because of the economy right now but because it really is the right thing to do…Now after spending 2 days with Whitewater Projects I really feel that I am in a much better place to convey the message not only to the IS leadership but also to the Executive Leadership team of which I am a member.

“Thank you very much to Whitewater Projects. It has been great and I look forward to learning even more!”

“Marcus Bailey CIO Washington State DOL”
